Our staff
Hey Dudley Shoals Family.
Just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we;ve been on together since I joined you in 2017. It’s been a wild ride, filled with ups, downs, and everything in between. But through it all, I’ve seen God’s love shining bright in each one of you.
We read in Ephesians 5:25 that “Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her,” That’s the kind of love that unites us together as a family in Christ. And let me tell you, I feel that love every time we gather, especially on Sundays when we come together to worship.
Now, I won’t sugar coat it- we’re far from perfect. We stumble and still mess up. But the mission of Christ is carried out through His Church. Together we must COME, GROW, and SERVE. So as we celebrate DSBC, may we first celebrate God’s grace-it’s what sustains us, binds us, and leads us forward. We’re imperfect but loved, broken but beautiful, all because of His amazing grace.
I wouldn’t trade this church family for anything in the world. And if you’re new around here, just know that there’s a place for you at our table. We can’t wait to welcome you with open arms and share in the journey of faith together. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Faithfully, Pastor Kyle Lloyd.
In 1 Timothy 4:12, the Apostle Paul commands Timothy to reflect Christ in all aspects of life. His words to Timothy are the foundation of our mission as a youth group: “Don’t let anyone despise you youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” This scripture points out the significant and important place our youth have within the body of Christ. They are called to be living examples of the character of Christ in our world. Our prayer is that each youth will be totally sold out to Christ and will make disciples who make disciples. As we walk together in faith, may we, along with our young people remain firmly grounded in the truth of God’s word, trust the Holy Spirit in all things and seek to do all things to the glory of our glorious God.
Every church family needs people of different generations and perspectives on life to grow in the faith. Our Senior Adults at Dudley Shoals Baptist have wisdom born from life experiences, observations, and their daily walk with the Lord. It can be said of the Senior Adults here at Dudley Shoals that they are a great group of people who love to have fun, and fellowship be joining in the planned monthly activities. They count it a great joy to attend the weekly mid-day Bible Study and prayer time. It is a blessing for them to be able to pray for others, to love others and to be a witness. It is a joy to be a part of this wonderful group!
Dudley Shoals Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Children’s Ministry Director. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide leadership and teaching for the children of our church (birth-6th grade). The Director must exhibit a personal and growing relationship with Jesus, be spiritually mature, enthusiastic, and someone who brings fresh vision and leadership to this growing ministry. Our goal is for children to be discipled to COME to Christ, to GROW in Him, and to SERVE with Jesus in advancing the gospel beyond our church.
The Director will work to establish intentional relationships with the children’s families by encouraging and equipping parents to disciple their children from infants to youth. Ultimately, it is our vision that the Director would love the Lord and the Word of God, be willing to cultivate a team mindset working with our staff, and have a heart for God’s church.

Dudley Shoals Worship ministry is led with one goal in mind, to give glory and honor to God. We aim to include all of our congregation with worship using music that is considered multi-generational and utilizing multiple types of styles and instruments. With our youth band, adult choir, praise team, and children’s music opportunities, there is a place for everyone! Our goal is to worship God with a joyful noise and that is exactly what we aim to do!
Once Peter said: “But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence”
Bible: Peter 3:15
