DSBC MOPS meets the first Tuesday of each month September through May at 6:00 in the
Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
MOPS is open to any mother of a child newborn through kindergarten.
Each meeting typically consists of a meal provided for moms, a speaker and a take home craft.
Speaker topics in the past have included a speaker from Proverbs 31 Ministries, couponing,
preparing the home for the holidays, preparing preschooler for the school age years,
and gardening. Childcare is provided for preschool age children.
The children are provided a meal, activities and crafts under the care of loving
volunteers while our mothers meet.
DSBC MOPS is a member of MOPS International.
The mission of MOPS international exists to encourage,
equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman,
mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
The MOPS international membership fee is $24.95 per year.
Please do not let this fee keep you from coming to our group;
we have fundraisers to assist in covering membership fees as needed.
