The Mission of the Caldwell Baptist Association is to equip, encourage, and engage churches in making, maturing, and mobilizing Christian disciples in Caldwell County and beyond.

The Misison of CHPC is to provide a loving, Caring atmosphere for the terminally ill, their caregivers, and families in a location appropriate for their respective needs; to relieve the emotional and physical pain of those who come into our care; to project an attitude of goodness and openess to the community so that all who need us will feel welcome and confident of our professional abilities and advocacy for patient-directed care until life's end; to educate the community about hospice, and to serve as a leading resource for dying and grief issues. Hospice acknowldges our Christian basis, and as such, our overall purpose is to demonstrate the unqualified love of Jesus Christ in all that we do.
All of our services are free of charge. We use the Earn While You Learn parenting curriculum and our clients earn vouchers to exchange for baby items in our Hope's Closet. Clients may elect to do Bible studies to earn vouchers. We have limited opportunities for ultrasound off-site. We are concerned about every aspect for our clients' lives - emotional, physical and spiritual. We conduct all appointments on a one-on-one basis. On the first Thursday of the month our clients are invited to attend a large group meeting where experts in the community present programs of interest to our moms. Fathers of our babies can be invited by our clients to attend parenting appointments and they can earn "Daddy Bucks" to be used for baby items. We also have a selection of maternity clothes for our clients.
The Children's Chapels are an extension of DSBC. They are satilite buildings that children can go to for spiritual education and to be shown the love of God. We currently have two Chapels and hope to have more in the future. The Chapels came from prayer through the church. The ministry of the Children's Chapels has been a blessing to the lives of the communities they are in. They are more than just a Sunday School it is a place where the kids can come and feel safe and loved, it's like a home away from home. These chapel's are not just for ministering to children, but, for ministering to the family as a whole. Over the past 17 years not only have children come to know Christ and been baptized in the church but the whole families have been touched.
